Job Summary
ByAllAccounts is looking for an intern to support its sales development operations. ByAllAccounts is a mid-sized fast growing company, offering the intern an opportunity to gain substantial professional experience. This internship is a sure resum? booster!
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Sales Development Intern is chartered with setting appointments with potential buyers by calling ?warm leads?. This is an outbound calling position, requiring 60-65 dials per day.
The individual will learn the techniques of interacting with different types of financial professionals, gain fundamental sales skills appropriate for solution selling, and learn to read different circumstances and how to alter selling skills appropriate to the situation.
Specific responsibilities for this client-facing role include:
Support Senior Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) by using SalesForce to reach out via email to potential buyers. Confirm appointments for SDRs.
Learn to reach, engage and set appointments with 3-6 potential buyers per week
Engage prospects in discussions, obtaining key information through the use of open-ended questioning techniques
Ensure a seamless transition of appointments to Sales Development Representatives
Work off repeatable follow-up processes, using company guidelines
Accurately enter, update and maintain information in SalesForce.com
This is a temporary, paid internship, requiring three to four half days per week during the Winter 2012 Semester (e.g., mornings on Monday through Thursday).
